Watched the VMA's. They had Britney Spears during the previews and she looked so sane and good. I was like, "Didn't she die?" And then during the opening, she came out and was so... sane. It was like as if she didn't shave her head. It was like as if the umbrella incident never happened. It was like as if she didn't perform at last year's VMA's. And then she won 3 awards, including Video Of The Year for Piece Of Me. I'm sorry, but that was totally a pity award. You know what would've been awesome? If she actually got to perform Gimme More at the opening, except get a new outfit instead of her 'Miss Piggy in lingerie' costume last year.
Anyway, this year's VMA's SUCKED!! I don't know, the host was totally not really that funny and was offending that Sarah Palin and Jonas Brothers for having promise rings. And then Jordin Sparks said that there are people who wear promise rings because they're not sluts and then the host had to apologize and you could see Jonas Brothers being uncomfortable. It was so stupid. URGH!! I hope Jonas Brothers are a one-hit wonder. And then freaking High School Musical presented an award. And there was freaking Miley Cyrus too. What is this? Some Disney extravaganza?!
And the performances kinda sucked too. Except for Christina Aguilera's. I mean, how come Lil Wayne is like, really popular? Isn't he on trial or something? And he had mega sagging jeans and it was like as if he was performing in his underwear. He also had a red handkerchief at the back of his jeans. Does he even know what that means?
The whole thing was a train wreck.
