Last night, I went to my uncle's house to see his newborn 10-day-old (now 11) granddaughter. Her name is very complicated - Nurfarshadura or something like that. And she's quite tall for a newborn. I seriously do not understand why everyone was all acting 'babyish' towards the baby. I mean, she kind of sleeps 24 hours a day and doesn't really respond to anything. Oh and I saw the baby's belly button and it had its umbilical cord still intact and I stupidly commented "Wow. She still has its umbilical cord." and everybody was looking at me and not smiling. I think it's a taboo or something.
Then I was forced to watch the World Cup because my parents would go home after the Portugal vs. Iran match and it was so very violent! This guy got kick in the face by a soccer boot (including those spiky things at the sole) and like, two guys got knocked in the head. I will stick to captains ball. Sigh, it's been a while.
I can't believe people actually stay up late just to watch 22 people chasing after a ball and getting it in a net occasionally. The next match I would watch would be the finals, and the only reason for that is because I heard that Shakira will be performing Hips Don't Lie either before or after the match. Wait, is there a closing ceremony?
