My Facilitating

Went to the Asian Civilisation Museum yesterday, with Anavil (he initially didn't want to go). Anyway, I thought that we would be following them there, but then the Sec 4s went there in our own bus (cyan in colour). Obviously the bus ride was crazy, with Ryan, Mervyn, Fel and Ruiqi.

Reached there and soon, the kids came. There were only two classes and some even had their own handphones! OMG! I think I might have underestimated their intelligence. Anyway, they went around on their own with the guides and we just hung around at the lobby. There was this 'tent-designing contest' (for ages 16 and below) where you had to draw a tent and Anavil, 16, took part in it. He drew two pictures so I wrote my name on one of them. After that, I learnt a new game - Chee Ko Pak! Yup, I didn't know what it was until yesterday.

After that, the kids came and guess what? We only had 5 boys to look after! And to think that I printed 20 copies. They're so very innocent. Oh and Anavil seriously should consider becoming a kindergarten teacher. He made sure the kids shut up. Gave them worksheets, then brought them around. They didn't believe that Anavil was from Thailand. And one of them asked me what I learnt for History. Then, when I told them that our class was 4R, they said, "Wah! Your class so lousy?". And I totally forgot to tell them my jokes. Ugh! Ryan and Mervyn brainwashed their kids and told them there was a three-headed monkey roaming around the museum. Ha!

After that, gave them sweets. The whole class swarmed into the plastic bag like piranhas. Said goodbye. I asked Joanna if she was strict to her group, then she said, "Ya. But I laughed one time." Riggghhttt! The bus ride back was crazy. I read the surveys and all of them gave 5 stars for the part "The facilitators were friendly and helpful". The Waffles survey was funny. They had questions like, "Like doughnuts" and "Like cheese" and "Coke or Pepsi" and "Can you beatbox". Sang We Belong Together really loudly.
